The upper ground part represents the word "birth". The corn-shape part seems to grow from the underground, just like the concept of birth-something starting to born. The below ground part represents the word "hyperrealistic". It is hyperrealistic because the patterns make it look like a beehive, but the scale is more monumental as well as it is underground.

A: My best piece of work before coming to this course

This is one of the artworks in the series named 'Metamorphosis' that I did in my HSC. By  letting the colours dominate the theme and therefore transforming the phalaenopsis , this work focuses on the beauty of the small flowers specifically and minutiae in general that are often overlooked.

This is an image of the tallest twin buildings in the world: The Petronas Twin Towers, designed by architect Cesar Pelli. They are the symbols of the city, dominating and defining the skyline. The interesting attraction of the towers is the Skybridge, which not only allows movements between the towers but also represents "a gateway to the future"-www.petronastwintowers.com.my


C: An original photograph of something beautiful

This is an image of a flower of a ochna integerrima that I took during a flower festival in Vietnam. It is beautiful as it seems to glow with its yellow colour and and it feels very refreshing looking at it.
